I made a mistake on my college application and I don't know what to do.

I submitted my SIR to UC Davis and I received a letter about joining the Native American community. The problem is I am not Native American and when I checked my UC application, it turns out that I labeled myself as Native American/Native Alaskan Asian. I am assuming that I only saw the word “Asian” and marked myself with that ethnic selection. I am 100% Korean, which I also listed myself (on my UC application). I am most definitely not Native American or Native Alaskan. I will be calling the UC Davis admissions office to correct my mistake. Does anyone know what I should do?

Definitely email or call them and let them know. I doubt they’d rescind you, since the UC’s are race blind, and especially not considering the current situation.

I will definitely call them. Thank you so much!
