I accidentally sent the first draft of my supplement instead of my final draft. Is there any way I would be able to resubmit my common app by calling NU admissions, or will it worsen my candidacy?
Call the school. They will most likely have a way for you to update your supplementary information.
Can’t comment on how it would look to the school.
Do NOT send in two CommonApp applications. CommonApp says on their website that they can not make revisions to processed applications so contact the school (Northwestern) directly.

Whether or not it does, it shouldn’t matter. Just be more careful the next time. Something like this does not make or break you getting in or not.
I would definitely call admissions and tell them your situation. They might not let you turn in the final draft, but it never hurts to try.
