Just realized this, I don't know how I could let it happen. I can't believe it right now, I've been blowing away my chances at top schools all along...

How do you "slip" out? Don't you think about this stuff halfway through the year when you've got a C here and 3 Bs there?

I did much better on my 3rd Quarter than my 2nd Quarter but still managed to drop 7 places. My grades 3rd Quarter were A, A-, A+, C, A-, B. My grades this 4th Quarter will probably be A-, A, A+, A-, A-, B. (with maybe an extra A+ or an extra B in there somewhere).

So, thinking about it, maybe I'm not as bad off as I thought. What really matters is how the rest of class did though, and how I will adjust with their stats.

You have to try to take it easy. You can only control your own performance, not any one else's, so don't waste energy and time worrying about how everyone else did in relation to you. Sure it would suck to slip out of the charmed top 10%, but it looks like you really pulled things together for the fourth quarter and you should give yourself a pat on the back for that. --coldcomfort
