I want to major in psy and also take pre med classes.
So far I signed up for
Anthropology 3AC (4 units)
Math 16A ( 3 )
Psy 1 ( 3)

Total= 10 units
I want my first semester to be easy so I decided to take Chem 1A in the spring and take Chem P ( 0 unit class) during the fall at the SLC, I do not remember any of the things I learn in chem in hs and I think that chem P will help me.

I was thinking about signing up for a 1 unit seminar ( if can get it) and a 2 unit leadership class they told us about in Calso, but I am worried about about only having 3 graded classes, If I mess up in one, my GPA will be really low.
Should I stick to my plan or should I consider taking another graded 3 unit class? Can you suggest one that might not be full yet?

@mjmay7 I know, that’s why I’m considering signing up for it during phase ii @tyrion could you suggest me a class, I really don’t know what else to take or who to ask. @conanaa Is that class supposed to be easy? Why are you taking it? @187 I was looking at 2 unit classes, but most of them are full :/

you have to apply to the CalSO program in early fall and then they have 2 rounds of interviews and then if you get passed that you can take the class and become a counselor

Since you just want to stick with easy classes, maybe you should look into a language course? First year language courses are fun and pretty easy, and they offer a good way to meet new people.

Ok I’ll definitely consider taking a language thanks. If I take a language, should I still take the two unit decal Im interested in? Would 17 units be too much?

Psy1 (3)
Anthropology 3ac(4)
Math16a (3)
Decal(2)
Language class ( im thinking German so 5units)
???

Ok so I can’t take a foreign language because I would have 3 finals on the same day, would nutsci10 be a good class to take? Most people seem to take it in the spring, so Im wondering is it any different in the fall? Is mccoin a good professors?
