I need a YES or NO

GPA 3.39
old SAT 1120
sophomore transfer from Monroe Community College in upstate NY
college rec. from past VP of Procter and Gamble
outstanding extracurriculars and volunteering
haven't taken ANY easy courses to say the least
accepted into Honors courses at MCC

Is it worth applying to NYU-stern??

the GPA and the SATs kill you with is a large portion of the admission process. It is leaning toward the NO but there is alway a chance if you are a minority or have something that seperate you from other people.

I hope this helps

take a shot.

no .

yes, it's always worth applying because if you don't, you'll always wonder "what if"

but no, you probably won't get in

NYU-Stern's average SAT score for admitted students is 1423. So, if you want to waste a $55 application fee, be my guest.

no. dont. 10 char

No (x10 chars)

no sorry .

"yes, it's always worth applying because if you don't, you'll always wonder 'what if'"

word.
APPLY AWAY

You never know, if you $55.00 to spend give it a shot!

depends on how good that rec is

yes, i think it's always worth it.

Cool2bars: How did you do that?

if you can spare the money and effort then yes....

but just take it as the lotto, if you don make it..no hard feelings...

Yes (Def. agree w/ the post above)

Qualified yes: your odds would be better if you held off two more semesters and dedicated all of your energy during that time to getting higher grades. At this point, the people reading your application will be more interested in high grades than the fact that you took challenging courses; you might consider cutting back a bit to enrolling in only average-intensity classes rather than difficult ones.

do what ?

Yes. Yes. Yes. Ignore The No's. Yes. Yes If U Want In. Do U Want In? If So, Apply!!!
