I need advice on deciding between AP Stats and AP Computer Science A

To start off, Im a current sophomore, and I’m choosing classes for 11th grade
So far I’m signed up for (for 11th grade): Bio honors, english, ap calc bc, french 4, ap micro, ap chem
For my 7th class I’m trying to decide between AP Stats and AP Computer Science A.

I HAVE NOT TAKEN ANY COMPUTER/TECHNOLOGY CLASSES BEFORE AND I HAVEN’T DONE ANY CODING BEFORE. Would you still recommend AP Comp Science A with that amount of (non)experience and all the classes I am taking. (So, basically would I be likely to get a 5 or at least a 4 on my AP exam for that class?) Or if you’re not sure about recommending it, what is the work load for that class? Because one of my teachers said that the homework can take 2-3 hrs and the tests can be hours long and not many people can get 5s. Is that true?

For AP Stats, I’ve heard that the workload is less than calc bc.
Thanks

From what I’ve heard, AP CompSci, at least at our school, is very manageable, especially if that sort of thing comes very intuitively for you. However, you must also consider that both AP Calc BC and AP Chem are VERY involved classes (LOADS of homework, very difficult tests, etc). Personally, when I took AP Calc BC and AP Stats (which is notorious for being very writing-intensive) at the same time, I found the workload to be just barely manageable (and this was when I was in 9th grade and had no other AP classes to worry about). So, just something to think about…
