I really need advice on this, guys!!

So I'm Yearbook Co-Captain and there is a club fair at my school the day before during freshmen orientation so they can sign up for different clubs.

We get a table in the gym, I need to make a sign.

I need ways to get kids to sign up,,,, I was thinking of baking cupcakes and giving them to anyone who signs up??

What else can I do? Any catchy phrases for the sign? Our club is called Hallmarks...

I wouldn’t suggest that you give cupcakes to people that sign up, because people might see it as near bribery. Besides, odds are that most people that would pick a club because of a free cupcake wouldn’t be all too serious about it. I would just focus on having a visually appealing sign to get attention, and then honestly conveying the purpose of the club and what it’s all about when people come to the table. You might also want to have some past yearbooks out so people can see what’s been done previously.

Things you can talk about:
- Past accomplishments of the Yearbook club at your school.
- How members participate during meetings.
- How you personally feel about the club, and what it stands for.
- Etc.

Honestly, I’ve never had a table like that out to publicize one of the clubs I’m president of. Some things that I do for SECME to advertise includes putting up posters and having announcements on the school news for the first meeting of the year, but it sounds like your school handles clubs a lot differently.
