OK, I will be a Senior next year and my Junior Schedule was as follows:
Regular Chemistry
Algebra II
English 3
US History II
SAT Prep Class
Economics
Gym

My Senior Schedule is as follows:
AP Chem
AP Comp Sci
H Physics
H English
H Western Civ
H Pre-Calc
H Spanish IV
Gym

My SAT score is an 1850 (1230 M+CR).

I will be applying to some colleges that require two SAT Subject Tests (one math and one science). I plan on taking Chem and either Math I or Math II (Math II is preferred by colleges).

It sucks because I never cared about my schoolwork until this year and so I was in all CP classes last year and haven't taken Pre-Calc yet.

Can I still do well on the SAT II Chem even though I only took a regular course in it? Will I be able to take Math II even though I haven't taken Pre-Calc or will that take too much self-studying?

I plan to retake the SAT, try the ACT for the first time, and try the SAT Subject Tests for the first time. Which order would it be best to take these tests in?

BTW I will be applying to all colleges RD since I have so many tests to take and so few test dates to take them on. I believe that this allows me to utilize the October and November SAT test dates and the September and October ACT test dates.

I’m assuming you’ve taken a real practice ACT test, if not I recommend doing so to see if you should spend your time improving your SAT score or work on getting a good score on the ACT. Better to focus on one rather than both imo. Never got why people took both(with the exception of using SAT as practice for the PSAT), but anyway

Take the ACT in Sept or/and SAT in Oct and then Subject tests in Oct which will give you some time to retake if you end up not getting the score(s) you desire.

OK, but if I take the SAT in Oct then I can’t take the Subject Tests in Oct. I’ll probably just focus on the ACT since I haven’t gotten the results I want from the SAT and take the Subject Tests in Oct.

I think you can take the subject tests is november. Most of the application dates are due after the nov release date, but you’d have to check for your specific colleges. You only couldn’t do that if you were applying for early decision. I also think your first time will also be your last. It’s your senior year dude.
I was just looking at the Math 2 practice questions. They look pretty doable to me, but I already took pre calc so i don’t know if that’s my jaded judgement.
I think you will have more trouble with chem than math. I was looking through the questions and I took honors chem about 7 months ago and I forgot a lot of those questions. It just depends on how well you held your information, but they looked pretty specific to me.
If you have a lot of study time for chem and you plan putting it into full use, than i think you can manage chem. For Math 2, you should try out the questions on here and see which ones you know/ don’t know. <a href=“What were SAT Subject Tests? - College Board Blog”>The SAT – SAT Suite | College Board;

Don’t overload, what I honestly feel like is a bad choice is studying for Chem and Math 2 along with your SAT’s. If you didn’t start months before, it’s pretty hard to cram all those in.

@Annl233 yeah I agree that studying for Chem and Math 2 along with SAT/ACT will be a lot, but I thought that most of the studying you had to do was done in the class that you took itself (for example chemistry). I know that you still have to review the material, but if I most of the Chem material won’t most of it just be a review? Thanks for the help.
