Hello to all the respectable investment bankers out there. I have been surfing in this forum for a long time. However, i am getting lost in finding things that i should do to better myself. Let me introduce myself, I am still a junior in high school. I have decent GPA (weighted above 4.0) and many experiences in business field because of my family. Since Investment banking is the career that i am looking forward to, and knowing that it is very hard to get into this field, i am very frustrated. So, is there anything that i can do right now or in the future to get myself closer to my goal. Any suggestion is appreciated, thank you! (except studying hard and trying out stocks because i have started already)

You don’t need to necessarily “try out” stocks for IB. But, moving past that, the best you can do now is get a high SAT score, be a leader in any organizations you can, keep your GPA up and build EC experience to get into a top college. Once you get into a target school, you will be in good shape for IB and for now, getting into one of those schools is how you can best prepare to get into IB.

PM me if you have other questions.
