First off, I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right board - I'm assuming I am because my question involves more than one major.

I'm currently a senior in high school in Utah, and going to the University of Utah. My original intention was to double major in piano performance and architecture. Piano has been a major part of my life and I'm not willing to give it up. I want to get at least a degree in it so I can teach and perform in the future. However, I know that the income is not great nor stable, so I've turned to architecture. I'm not sure if I'm being naive or not, but I've done a lot of reading and it seems like the job prospect for architects in the future is actually looking quite bright. I know that the income for that is not that great either, but I was thinking that I could teach and perform as a musician in the early years as an architect, then slowly balancing out as I become more experienced as an architect. However, double majoring in architecture and piano performance is a very, very large workload - almost to the point where it's impossible (or so I've read, please correct me if wrong).

I think my bottom line is that I definitely want to major in piano performance, I'm just not sure what to major and minor in. My dad majored in computer science and has a job that pays reasonably well. I've also researched that computer sciences are needed all the time, and is relatively easy to find a well paying job. Or can I major in architecture and go to architecture school?

To make everything easier, I'll just list my questions:
Is a double major in piano performance and architecture too much?
If it's not, can I also have a job to support myself?
Can I minor in architecture and still go to architecture school?
What can I do with a computer science minor?

Thank you all so much for reading through this, I hope some of you can help me.
