i took the sat on june 4th with special accomodations. i got to write my answers in the test booklet instead of on a scantron (i did this in march too and there was no problem). well, to make a long story short my sat scores were not available june 20, then not july 2, and then not on july 20th. at that point my parents decided to give the college board a call who said that they were missing my test and would do an investigation that would take 14 business days. today is 14 business days later and i found out they were able to find my test booklet except for the essay which they are still looking for. so i aksed if they could just grade the other parts for now and they said yes but they will need several days to mail my booklet from new jersey to texas, then several days to grid in my answer sheet, then several days to put it through the machine. they said that this could take well over 14 business days. i want to know if any of you have any advice for me because i need to know if my score is good enough or if i should be studying to retake the sat in october. also, it makes selecting colleges more difficult when i dont have my sat scores. any advice would be much appreciated!

bump...hasn't anyone heard of the college board misplacing an sat before?

Well, if you're not sure how you did in June, you should probably start practicing for October. This prevents last minute prep if it turns out you didn't get the score you wanted.
