I need help with picking colleges! Please&thanks :)

<p>Hey guys, I was hoping you could help me out with picking colleges to apply to. I already have some schools in mind, but I want to make sure I'm not skipping over any. Okay, so!</p>

<p>My SAT is anywhere between 1900-2100 (find out in a week!).
My GPA is 3.70 UW and 4.00 W
lots of APs...
I also want to be a teacher, possibly in English (but I'm not entirely sure yet).</p>

<p>As for what I'd like in colleges:
1.) Anywhere above ~4,000 student population
2.) NOT smack dab in the middle of a huge city (small city is OK though), and preferably close to some type of city, small or large (in other words, a suburban campus)
3.) A beautiful campus :)
4.) I don't care where in the US, but I tend to dislike constant hot weather. I want to experience the four seasons (I'm from California, haha).
5.) Preferably a good Education program
6.) Preferably an undergraduate School of Education
7.) A high quality of life for students, lots of things to do, etc.
8.) A campus where one doesn't need a car
9.) Preferably a more liberal-leaning school, but it's fine as long as students are accepting :)
10.) I'm very flexible with tuition costs, but the cheaper the better haha.</p>

<p>These are the schools I have in mind; I'd like schools that are similar to these:
Univ. of Michigan (#1)
Univ. of Rochester
Univ. of Florida
Northeastern U
Univ. of Wisconsin - Madison
UT Austin (would be way up there if it weren't for weather, but I can deal)
UC Davis
Univ. of Oregon</p>

<p>Maybe some ideas for reach schools? I have the impression that most of mine are matches except UMich...</p>

<p>Thanks! :D</p>

<p>Maybe Boston College? Sits at the outside edge of a great city, but not in the city, very beautiful campus, many of the things you are looking for…</p>

<p>[Boston</a> College](<a href=“http://www.bc.edu/]Boston”>http://www.bc.edu/)</p>

<p>BC looks like a great fit! Thank you so much, snarlatron! :)</p>

<p>Any others out there?</p>
