I need help?

Im a senior in high school, Im stuck with choosing what type of engineering I want to do during undergrad. I want to work with medical devices and/or prosthetics (not as a technician though or a orthotist). I have been told its better to get an MSBME after doing a BS in either EE,ME or Chem E. Now Im stuck deciding between EE and ME. What do Electrical engineers do if they have a MSBME? and what do Mechanical Engineers do with a MSBME? which has better opportunities? Should I not stress about this right now? Also what concentration would what I want to do fall under out of these:

Bioinformatics
Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering
Biomechanics and Human Performance Engineering
Biomedical Systems and Imaging
Neuroengineering

The concentrations are just for my general knowledge Im not going to be required to pick yet.

There is such a wide variety of things that MEs and EEs do in the biomedical area that it can be hard to answer the question of what they do. Moreover, many of those BSMEs and BSEEs who have Master’s degrees tend to have those Master’s degrees in ME and EE, not necessarily BME. You don’t need a BME degree to work in BME or on medical technologies, but you can.

Basically. For now, you need to figure out whether you enjoy ME or EE more.

Regarding the concentrations you listed, literally all of them are related to what you described (medical devices and prosthetics constitute a wide field).
