I Need Some Advice...

Im going to be a senior this upcoming school year and I have taken the New Sat once. In june I received the below par score of 1700 ( math: 630 CR:550 and writing: 520). This summer I have tried to go to the library to study with every sat prep book I can think of but for some reason I just cant stand studying for more then a couple hours(The BOREDOM of studying for the SAT practically kills me). I know a good score is vital; What can I do to increase the effectiveness of my sessions without falling asleep?

Think of how girls are attracted to smart guys. Or drink red bull.

Read Up Your Score: The Underground Guide to the SAT. It's funny.

Ask a girl to study with you. LOL

Whatever works, you know?

That's actually good advice.

yea that is good advice

But then you won't be studying because of the distraction, i say stay away from the girls that want to suck the energy out of you and instead envisioni the good score you want resting in your hands in the form of a grade report....just imagine it....

PS - also realize how important SATs are (unfortunetly) to colleges for extra motivation.

i'd say if u have a celler or basement, lock urself up in a room for 2 hours. when u finish taking a practice exam, go take a break for an hour or two. enjoy the outdoors, drink some coffee, watch tv, chat w/ ur friends, I don't know. But don't keep thinking about the SAT. I also cannot concentrate more than 3-4 hours on 1 subject unless i'm crazy about it. I'm obviously not too attracted to the SAT as what I'd call FUN
