Last Fall 2010 I went to a junior college and I had to drop out midway through Spring 2011 because of some personal things. I want to go to another junior college this Spring 2012,but I can't afford fees for my last transcript at the old college. I only completed remedial classes in Fall 2010. Is it possible that I can start over in the spring?

So which one is it?

Either way, if you received a grade/W/I/etc., you are required to send a transcript. Colleges check your college enrollment here:

You need to clear up finances with the old college before getting involved in the new college. The actual transcript services fees are a fraction of the cost of your new college, so I don’t see the problem.

No, you can’t just “start over” as you are proposing.

No…actually it’s not the same. The new junior college I’m trying to go to is being paid for by a scholarship.

Don’t jeopardize a scholarship by not paying a few dollars to have your transcript sent.

Haha okay. But this is more than a few dollars.

Oh, I get it now. It’s not the cost of having transcripts sent (a few dollars), but rather living up to your fiscal responsibilities that you don’t want to do.
