I've been accepted to four schools, Vandy, UChicago, Cornell, and Johns Hopkins, does anyone know which one I should choose? (waitlist at Dartmouth, but let's not count that for now)

it seems to me that the biggest difference is location... for example, do you want to be in a really out of the way location (Cornell), or right near a city (JHU). Geography?

Also, what kind of social atmosphere do you want?

Academics aren't a huge consideration, because you'll get a fine education and any of those schools, but perhaps prestige or a certain academic program is important to you?

cornell or chicago, depending on whether you want to deal with *******s or relatively nice people for the rest of your life, respectively

what is your intended major?

Forget about JHU for now. All they have that is good is their med school. I also hear that they are good at biochemisry... which is funny because they don't even have the. If you get into Dartmouth, then go there. If not, go to Cornell or Chicago. I'd say Cornell, because Chicago felt to me like an ordinary school. A very ordinary one.

but yeah, i'd forget about vandy and jhu for now also. baltimore will get quite boring. if i were you, i'd go to cornell.

If you want to go to an Ivy, go to Cornell. If you want a vibrant social scene/major sports conference go to Vanderbilt. If you want a very intellectual type school go to University of Chicago. If you have strong interests in medicine, go to Hopkins.

i want a fun social atmosphere, community-like, i go to ucla now and it's just so big, Hopkins is smaller than Cornell, but I'm not sure which atmosphere is nicer and more cozy, since JH is in Baltimore, I'm not too sure if I want to do medicine or not, but JH has other good qualities too right? or is it just medicine

If you want to be an intellectual and go to a place really concerned with the life of the mind - Chicago.
