I had another thread but it was getting long and confusing, as my list has changed a lot.

Please share anything and everything you know about the following colleges/locations... Here are the colleges I'm currently considering, as well as the majors and minors that I'd be interested in at each:

Seriously, tell me anything. How's the financial aid? The social life? The safety of the area and campus? Things to do in the area? School spirit? ANYTHING! (Though I don't need a lot of info about OSU because I can visit it.)

Also, which are match/reach/safety (you can find my stats below)? I am well aware the NEU is a reach, and that I may not be able to go to Emerson due to their allegedly bad aid.

Do you have any suggestions based off my list for other schools? Are there any that I definitely should cross off of my list? WARNING, I'm actually pretty picky. I prefer schools somewhat near major cities (I'm aware that Skidmore doesn't really fit this). Besides my general love for the city after growing up in the country, I go to a lot of concerts because music is a huge part of my life, and it'd be hard for me to go far away from a major city where concerts happen. I base a lot of my college choices on majors. I avoid business/marketing majors that have calculus as requirement (which probably sounds stupid to a lot of people, but... oh well).

I'm a strong liberal and an atheist, so no religiously-affiliated colleges please. I prefer schools that don't have mostly conservative students too. Schools where people do nothing but party and do drugs aren't exactly my thing either. Although I'm personally totally fine with occasional drinking and marijuana use, going to a school where virtually every student is drunk or high 24/7 isn't really appealing.

I've been in leadership/student gov. for three years in high school, so I like being involved. I prefer schools with good spirit, but it's not a requirement or anything in the long run.

I have a 3.8 GPA and am in the top 10th of my class. I go to a public school in the middle of no where in Washington. I have taken AP Statistics (I got a 4 on the exam), and will be taking AP Lit. and Comp. (my school has only 5 or 6 APs and no honors classes). I have okay E.Cs. but they're not too great. I got a 1760 (560 CR, 590 M, 610 W) on the SATs, and will be retaking them and can basically guarantee a higher score. I also will be trying the ACT as well. I'm from Washington state and will need financial aid, but how much my family will be able to pay is unknown at this point. I ask for no out of state publics since they won't give my out of state self good aid (unless it's somewhere with cheap OOS tuition, like the SUNYs). Also, I'm trying to avoid east coast colleges with 90%+ in state students, since I'd be going across the country. My in-state safeties are WSU and UW (though UW isn't necessarily a safety but...). I prefer to go out of state though, preferably somewhat near Boston or New York City.

I can't visit east coast colleges, hence why any info is welcomed. Thanks! Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to supply as much information as possible!
