i need some perspective on my essay...

i wrote this essay that is kind of offbeat and i need to know if i should

a) burn it and write about something a little more traditional
b) revise some of the rough spots
c) keep it and use it

anyone who wants to read my essay, i can PM it to you...

thanks

Option B, but it really depends on where you are going to apply to. Schools like quirky essays if done well, if not then you look crazy. So just make it good gramatically and have objective readers, your teachers especially to see if you come off as a psycho or an interesting person.

Personally, I love quirky essays and it worked for me personally. I sounded like I was on crack and LSD at the same time. Good stuff.

Go ahead and PM it to me if you want.

PM it to me; I'll read it.

yea pm it to me

me 2, I want to read

PM to me, I would like to read it.

And me please!

pm me please

pm me also, let's see how you come across.

i'll read it

i'll read it too... i'll try to give you some useful advice.

You don't have to PM it to anyone... because most likely you aren't getting comments and they are looking for ideas.

^^^ Not I, I'm going to Cal in August. But Wolves is right, some people will undoubtably mooch for ideas.

Anyway if you don't want to PM, get some teachers to look at your essay, first thing when school starts, especially teachers that like you.

I didn't like it, to be honest...I don't know why I don't. I really don't get a sense of direction. There are WAY too many things going on. I can see you're trying to add passion (interest).

i'll bring the matches and the whiskey...

I liked it a lot and my points are put into a PM back to you.

Just smooth out some rough spots and it'll be great.

Yay, 100th Post.
