I need some safety schools!

I live in Wisconsin

3.4 gpa and 23 ACT to give you a general idea where I can get in.

I really wanna go to a big school but i'll settle for a smaller school. I'd like to stay in the midwest.
I'd prefer costs to be about $20k a year or less.

So far I've applied to michigan state and minnesota twin cities

I really don't know where else to apply. I'm looking at majoring in computer science or food science

What in-state schools have you applied to?

I haven't applied to any yet. I can get in state tuition at all the minnesota schools too btw.

Purdue is really great for computer science...

Purdue would be tough to get into with those grades and scores (below the Purdue average in both) and it would cost $14K more per year than OP wants to spend.

bump...............

Ohio University.

Can you get in-state tuition in Michigan? If so, then Michigan Tech.

Purdue's website lists their First Year Student Profile from Fall 2006, indicating the middle 50% of applicants had a 3.1-3.8 GPA and a 23-28 ACT. I would say OP is right in line for a Purdue acceptance.

UW-Madison is excellent. Big school and has a good computer science program.

You should also look at UW-LaCrosse
