I need some sat strategies

I took the SAT last month and got a 1300. Let’s just say I’m not satisfied.

I could have easily gotten a 1400+ but I had to leave 11 blank (didnt even have time to guess) and had to guess on 20+ for the reading portions because I could not focus. I just had to keep rereading the same sections over and over because I could not focus.

Was wondering what some strategies are for concentrating? I’m easily distracted by page flipping, breathing, etc… and I saw that earplugs aren’t allowed

Also, how do I study for the SAT? For my other SAT, I tried using khan academy but found it utterly useless. Their practice sections are nothing like the actual SAT.

No one out there who can offer advice?

If you google, you will find lots of strategies that you can try. Some may work better than others, you should practice using them to see which work for you.

Are you taking the SAT this Saturday?

Lots and lots of good advice out there.

Mine is to know the directions for the math fill ins, know how and when to use your calculator, and to get a good night’s sleep.

Beyond that, at 4 days away, there’s not much you can do…

Try practicing with UWorld. They have great questions with explanations. You can also choose the difficulty level that you want.
