Please help. As of right now now I have 110 credits. As you know for a bachelors you need 120. I’m enrolled in two programs - major in biology and major in health sciences. I can either take 1-2 courses this summer, a full load in the fall and be done. Graduate with a health science major and bio minor. Or I can take 2-3 courses this summer, a full load in the fall and spring and graduate in one year with the two majors.
I have little to no work experience and eventually want to get my MBA. Once I’m done with my undergrad degree I plan to work full time 2-3 years (may be important to note I’m 22). So am I better off with the double major then starting work when I’m done, or the single major and starting to work in the winter? Would I even be considered more competitive for MBA programs with a double major? Wouldn’t biology be a good major to have for undergrad for the pharmaceutical /biotech/health care worlds? Or is health sciences sufficient enough?
(I haven’t done that much research but so far job opportunities seem better for the biology major then the health sciences)
