with a GPA of 1.9 ? i’m honestly not surprised. and i seriously doubt any decent university would want to admit you. you’re better off doing CC and then transferring.

I’d imagine you’d want your grades transferred as well, and in that case your future college would stress on the same thing.

Therefore I agree with depr91!

Find a really crappy community college to transfer to. Work on your GPA for a year or more, then transfer to a better school.

Some info on transferring:

Is it possible to transfer to somewhere good in the States after one year in pakistan?

Possible? Yes. But potentially tricky, especially if finances are a concern.

B@r!um, I was reading one of your other posts on tranferring and you’d mentioned how after tranferring from a foreign country you’d be spending a year catching up on general requirements such as language, etc. So that would mean the one year that I spent in a college in Pakistan wouldn’t mean much as I’d STILL have to go through four years of college in the States?

Each college/university determines which previous courses you have taken will transfer for credit and which won’t. It is entirely possible that you would have to spend four years studying at your US college/university in order to complete your degree. It also is entirely possible that you might finish in three years. Until you know which courses transfer, you won’t know what your situation is. Usually, you won’t know for certain about this until you have already enrolled.
