im a senior at the moment. My yearbook teacher this year was my AP englihs language teacher last year. She has been out due to sickness for a few months month, and was supposed to come back this week. However, we all just got news that she won;t be coming back until the end of the year. I was asked to help out her AP english language class by the substitute (who have informed me that they HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO TAKE THE TEST). It;s been a year, and I forgot how to take the test, let alone teach the course. I have cliffs AP prep, 5 steps to a 5, and countless old sample essays from previous years. What should i do to help out her AP english language classes?

use cliff notes
it has a very thorough review on that exam

Lots of timed essays?
(Unless the class size is too large...:D)

Yeah, timed essays are really helpful. You might want to look through the Collegeboard's AP Lang. handbook for teachers. Although it's probably diluted with stuff everyone knows (getting a 5 on an AP examination means that the student is extremely well qualified, etc.), you'll probably find some useful stuff.

i think if you use cliffs, give timed essays and look at the handbook you should be fine. Good luck :)
