The material is easy, but the LABS ARE INSANE. Most of the lab questions they ask you in the classroom are ridiculous. Some of them, I just stare blankly at it and I ask, how the **** am I suppose to know this? I noticed most of the questions they ask you on the lab books are beyond the scope of the course.

Which lab questions? From the FRQ? Some are hard, some are easy. The hard ones are the ones you supposed to do in AP Chem. Easy ones - simple subtractions and reasoning.

If you’re talking about MC, I would either risk it or skip it.

Yeah, AP Chemistry is easy for me, but the MC portion requires moderate critical thinking.

No, classroom labs. Like actual lab work.

We’ve done some titration stuff, along with some other work like colligative properties. I didn’t think it was too bad.

What labs are you referring to specifically?

Oh, our AP Chemistry teacher goes does a lot of off-topic materials. We did Normality, coordinate complexes and a lot of stuff that is not on the AP Exam…

Oh, lab questions from the classroom lab. Yeah, they’re difficult. I didn’t understand what they’re saying and how I would answer them.

If you’re going into lab research, normality, coordinate complexes, and a lot of stuff would benefit you.

I want to be a Chemical Engineering and so far I like AP Chem except for the Labs, but I’m sure thats because of my teacher who loves to complain 24/7 and our antique lab equipment.
