<p>How do most students manage to get to classes in only 10 minutes?
I have to go from ETC to PAR for Math to Biology... That seems way too far...</p>
<p>Yeah, that definitely seems a bit far. You’ll probably have to leave a couple of mins earlier, which shouldn’t be detrimental at all to your performance in the class.</p>

<p>I’m debating whether I should get a bike or not. But i was told it gets stolen A LOT. I wouldn’t wanna spend 100bucks for a bike (even a used one) and get it stolen… :[[</p>
<p>There couldn’t possibly be a shuttle… PAR isn’t near a “road”, persay. If you walk fast, you can make it in 10 minutes, but I don’t blame you for being uncomfortable about having those back-to-back classes. </p>
<p>You should definitely leave early instead of being late to class. If possible, let your professor know that you’ll be leaving early as well.</p>
<p>But I’m afraid I’d miss important information like homework or reminder for tests or something.
What do profs usually do towards the end of lectures? Will I be okay?</p>
<p>These classes are back to back I take it? I think the standard for most classes is that they let you out fifteen minutes earlier than the time the class listing says it will end. You pretty much just have to walk down Speedway and then cut through that hill street that takes you between McCombs and some other building (the road leads past the tower). It’s doable in ten minutes. Takes me ten minutes to walk from my place near Pearl St. to Mezes in the mornings. Same distance I bet.</p>

<p>Yeah. You probably couldn’t really take a break though. Quickest way is to walk down Speedway and cut through the open walk way by the SAC that goes downhill all the way down to San Jac street by Winship - cross street and you’re there.</p>
<p>Definitely talk to both profs about it. Professors can get annoyed by persistent late arrivals and early departures because it feels disrespectful, but once they know the reason why, most (not all, unfortunately) are sympathetic.</p>
<p>Give it a try for the first few class sessions. If it seems like a bike would help, the annual Bike Auction is on September 1 this year, and you can get a good deal on a bike there.

<p>While you are zipping from the first class to the next, look to see where you would be riding a bike if you had one. Sometimes a bike is a great help. Sometimes the path you need to take is too congested for a bike to be helpful.</p>
<p>You would have to get used to urban bike riding because I sure wasn’t. If you’re not already one, make sure you get all the right stuff and learn to signal and stuff so you keep yourself safe on the road and other drivers.</p>
<p>When you are riding a bike across campus between classes, one of the hardest parts can be finding a clear path that doesn’t run over anyone who is walking across campus between classes.</p>
