I have it right now in additional comments. By it, I mean the exact article I wrote and a breif (5 sentences) description of the circumstances that led to the opportunity.

Newspaper staffs publish articles. Maybe you meant you wrote one that was published.

Yes, i posted the entire article (about 400 words) in “additional comments” following the writing section of the common app
I think it’s enough to say that you wrote an article on “- - - -” that got published in the newspaper.
Hmm. I dont think it would hurt to attach the article. Wouldnt they need some sort of proof anyways?
No. If they need proof, they will ask.
BTW, it’s spelled “brief”.
And no one is going to read your 400 word article. Your readers have many other things to consider.
Are we talking high school newspaper? Or the NYT?
