How can I get the Financial Aid? 
You file a FAFSA for federal aid. Some states use it too, if they give state aid. Some colleges that give their own funds use FAFSA but many ask for more information, about 400 use the CSS Profile which you fill out in addition to FAFSA. Yes, you can apply for aid thru FAFSA, but understand that fed aid is NOT MUCH MONEY. If you’re living abroad, then aid from FAFSA will NOT cover your school costs anywhere.

What schools are you looking at?
What are your stats?
Even if you’re very low income, that just qualifies you for a $5700 fed grant. As you can see, that will cover only a tiny bit of college costs.
