I really want to get All A this year, Please give me tips for Study Habits for junior.

Hi guys! I am a currently junior and I think I really have bad habit that makes me so tired and make me not to study.

Do you guys have any tips on getting All A and study habits for juniors?

I would be appreciated!!

Do you get enough sleep? Sleep more !

I don’t think I get enough sleep…haha. When I get home at 4, I sleep and wake up at 8:00. I think this is what makes me so exhausted… and I go to bed like 2~3 o clock after finishing homework and stuyding

That isn’t enough sleep.

Here is my list:

1) Sleep 7 - 9 hours (min - max)
2) Don’t stress
3) Don’t immediately start your homework. Eat something, watch a show, do something before hand to make you mind rest or be turned off for a while
4) Talk to people and Laugh - you would be surprised how much we don’t do this. It is helpful during a stressful day.
5) Pay attention and participate in class - as my AP teacher said, the class is you study session. Use it like you would while studying.
6) Don’t listen to music while studying a difficult topic
7) Close your laptop when it isn’t needed. Same with your phone and all other electronic devices
8) Highlighters are your friend
9) I find typing my notes is quicker and much much more efficient
10) Use mnemonic devices.
11) Watch videos teaching the material on YouTube
12) Ask for help when you desperately need it. Other than that, use your friends and peers for help. The material sticks better
13) Make a note sheet with the most important points that you haven’t learned yet the day before a test and stare at it all day during the day until that class begins. Cramming may not help but sometimes it just feels better to do it.
14) Don’t hand in your test before the bell rings or the time is over
15) Don’t look at other students and compare yourself to them… ever
