AP Calc BC to be exact. AB subscore of 2. Wow.

But, I received straight As in the class...

Anyways, I am applying to a private, Jesuit University in Ohio and am competing for competitive scholarships. My question is:

In both the application and interview process, should I report my AP score of 1? Should I submit and talk about my other high scores but not bring this up?

Problem is, I took this class and exam as a junior, so I wonder if the college admissions people might question why I did not report or score or why I did not take the exam.

I'm freaking out!!!!!!! Please help and advise!!!!!!!!

The fact that you got a 1 but A’s in the class make me question the validity of your schools grades… Perhaps just a bad day?

Definitely do not report the score. If you do, the college will know that you didn’t do well. If you don’t, they might assume that you didn’t take for various reasons(money, schedule, etc.). So they’ll probably give you the benefit of the doubt and certainly not use that against you.

Thanks for your help, but don’t question the validity of my grades. I attend a very rigorous private school and earned those As. Maybe a bad day.

Don’t get it rescored, there’s no way they messed up badly enough that you’d jump to a passing score. Also, regardless of whether you go to a rigorous school or not, getting a 1 on the AP and an A in the class will certainly make colleges question the validity of your grades so to avoid this just don’t report your score.
