Great Scores and a 1

I got a string of 5's and a 1 on Computer Science AB. I made A's in the class all year long. What am I to do now? I'm wanting to apply to Ivies because the rest of my app would be very strong, but that 1 will OWN me, or at least I imagine so.

Please help.

You can leave it off your app. You don't have to send the official score report until you're accepted.

Guess it wouldn't be better to be upfront and blunt about it and just report the score, eh?

If they suspect you didn't report it because you didn't do well, they probably won't think you got a 1 if the rest are 5s. They might think you got a 2 or 3, but probably not a 1, so I'd leave it off if I were you.

lol i did bad in computer science too

How bad did you do? heh

did you think you did badly? if you are fairly confident in yourself, ask for a rescore

I was expecting a 2.

Won't make a single bit of difference. Don't even worry about it. Just don't include it on the application.

1 on computer science

If you thought you got a 2, then you wouldn't get credit either way, so don't worry and don't mention it.

i would recommend getting a rescore if you are sure you did not deserve a 1... and with a string of 5s, I would say you probably werent that dumb on one test

Well, he said he thought he got a 2.

did you think you got 5's on the other ones? in other words, did you think you got 2's on those too? if yes, rescore

Just leave it off your application.

You figure, the colleges are going to see a string of 5's and just think you didn't tell them your Computer Science score because it was a 3 or something. They can't assume that you did any worse than you actually did.
