I self-reported my ACT Writing Score wrong...Help!?

On the Common App, the slot reads, “Highest Combined Writing/English Score or Highest Writing Score,” so I put my combined writing/english score because it is higher. After submitting my app, I found out that the Combing Writing/English score is only for people who took the ACT test before September 2015. I took the Sept 2015 one so I should have reported my Writing only score. My combined writing/english score is 30 and my writing score is 26. What if they think I tried to lie and make my score look better?

I contacted Penn admissions through email right when I found out but they have not responded to me yet and it has been over a week.

It’s ok. They’ll see the reported scores from the ACT. The Common App one is only for rare cases in which the score doesn’t arrive on time.

I had that same exact problem! So, to clarify, I don’t need to contact the universities?
