bump......

Why ask? All your stats are good, but you have to take into account two things:
a) Its Stern and its competitive
b) If you dont get in ED, there is always RD, its unlikely you will get rejected.
Your chances as you probably know are fairly decent. I think you will get in RD if not ED. Push comes to shove, they'll defer you. Make yourself stand out. Try to visit campus and meet with the dean. Make sure admissions knows u've been on campus and you care. NYU needs people to show interest.

Good luck dude, hope you make it!!!

And NYU has a defferal system, my friend last year got defered and got in RD. I'm not sure if Stern has it. ANd if by chance you get rejected, then try out these schools
1) MIT (number 1 management program is at sloan business school in MIT)
2) Boston College
3) Cornell (they have everything)
4) Wharton
5) Carnagie Mellon (would be a fairly good safety for you)

Though (no offense) I highly doubt u'll make it to MIT, you have a shot so I would weigh options before applying. Wharton you have a chance and Cornell has a decent business school (hotel management or ILR) and Carnagie as well. Keep in mind wharton only has econ for undergrad. Georgetown has a nice business school too, but its not as good as Stern. Good luck wherever you go :)

i think you have a pretty good shot at getting in. if your essay and rec's are excellent then you should be good.
