I sent my SAT scores late to 2 of the colleges that I’m applying to. Like I sent them today. Will they be okay with it? One of the colleges I’m applying to says they look at January SAT scores if you send them directly to the college. The January SAT is on the 24th. Does this mean that I’m fine at this institution considering that other people are allowed to submit scores for this specific test date at a later deadline? Help please.
Yes, you should be perfectly fine. If the schools receive scores electronically, then they should arrive within 3-5 days of today. Considering that most schools provide a grace period for late materials due to Winter Break, I’m sure you’ll be fine.
When I applied to Vanderbilt ED (didn’t end up getting in) I sent my scores like 8 days after the deadline and wrote them about it. They said most schools are okay with you sending scores a little later as long as it’s reasonable, most schools will also contact you reminding you to send them. You’ll be fine. If you get an email saying “We’re still expecting scores” just contact them and let them know the situation.
Thanks so much guys! I feel a lot better.
