I sent all of my scores before January 1st, and for my question assume each colleges listed deadline for everything was January 1st, but I doubt they will be there by then, will colleges accept them if they arrive after the deadline, but were sent before? They aren’t from recent tests, and I know each college may have its own specific policy, but is there a general rule about this? I’d hate to have put so much work into an application only to be disqualified because of scores not getting there on time. The reason I didn’t send them earlier was because of financial hardship, and if I’m caught in a situation where my application is disqualified (knock on wood) should I make an attempt to email admissions and plead my case? My family didn’t have enough money upfront for me to send all my scores at once. Thank you for the input!!!
Don’t worry; colleges will accept your scores even if they arrive after the deadline. Some schools even allow their applicants to take the January SAT test, which isn’t administered until 3 weeks from today. It wouldn’t do colleges any good to disqualify you just because of a late test arrival. Hopefully this helps!
