I suck at Math and Science

Hi guys. So I recently took the September ACT and these are my results:
Composite:30
English:35
Math:27
Reading:32
Science:27
Writing:not available yet
As you can see, my math and science scores are really bad. I can often see what I got wrong on the science section(usually careless errors) but oftentimes on the math section, I don’t even know where to start on many of the hard problems and a few of the medium ones. What tips do you guys have for doing well on the harder math problems and not making careless mistakes on science? I want to get at least a 33 composite the next time I take it. Thanks.

Test prep class - book or online. Learn how to use your calculator, it does a lot more than you would expect. Take answers they give and sub back into problems.

Science is more like reading rather than actual school science, as it is reading and understanding graphs and texts rather than understanding the actual scientific concepts.

@jman457 for some reason, I tend to get high scores in reading(32+) but my science score is almost always low. Should I read the explanatory paragraph and then jump into the questions? I also find that I am often short on time with science but not with reading.
