I think I blew my chances...

What if i sent them 3 paragrahs on the short essay... is that bad?

Are you worried that it was too long, or too short? Either way, the length is not important, the content is.

The application is submitted and cannot be changed, so try not to worry about it. Enjoy your senior year.

It may just be my opinion but I think you should take the SATII’s, although they may not be required they still prove useful in identifying areas you may specialize in. Just take two that you are comfortable with, I mean if you are worried about your chances then you should take the test because a minority of applicants opt out of taking the SATII’s.

I missed the date

This thread was obnoxious.

How did you end up missing the date???? o_O!
Send it anyhow, immediately, maybe they'll take it anyway. I once applied for a contest and wasn't sure if it would make it in time... (it was due on monday (i wasn't sure postmarked or received) and I stuck it in the mailbox on sunday, after the pick up time.
I ended up winning the entire thing and got published in the magazine as well (it's available in most major bookstores so it was exciting)

So yeah never late until you try, right? This might be different but why not try to send it?

I missed the SATII date but I will talk to collegeboard today.

What should be my aim for the SAT?

aim for 800 but anything above 700 is good.
