This is my second time taking the SATs; my first was in January. But I've been so swamped with school work and college applications that I think I actually did worse... Oh the feeling of impending doom! I can't stand it haha. Maybe I should go cancel my scores...

I took it today too, and maybe it's just me, but I thought I fared a little bit better.

Don't worry, though. I thought I did atrociously bad on my first one because I had no time to prepare due to work, school, and soccer. I didn't do too badly, though, and the only reason I'm taking it again is because it's required in my school to graduate.

Don't cancel scores yet unless you think you did SUPER terrible. I'm sure you're fine, though :-)

Ponder this: If you do better on the first take, and then worse on the second, are your original scores somewhat "invalidated"? I feel as if doing worse shows that the first scores were luck, or something. I mean, if the scores really differ.

I also took them in january and i took them last may and canceled them because i felt i didn't do any better. but i only canceled my scores because i knew i'd have another chance to up my scores in the fall (oct 6), but assuming you're a senior you may not have another chance to take them so i wouldn't cancel. you've only taken them once, so colleges will still take the highest of your verbal/math/writing scores, so what's the harm?
