For SAT test-takers:

I took the sat this month and feel I did horrible!! I wanted to cancel my scores, but I decided not to.
Is there anyone who thought they did bad but did really good in the end? If so, post what you thought you received and your actual results.

I thought I did bad on the SAT in September, and I did. lol I skipped an entire page on writing on accident and got a 590.

That sucks! That brought you down drastically. Lol. did you retake it?

Anyone else?

You should probably cancel if you really think you did terrible (I don’t know what your goal score is, but look at a past score distribution).

Well isn’t it too late?

I took the SAT when I was sick and I expected a ~2200. I got a 2350.

My theory is that being sick actually helped me score higher. Because I was sick and thought I would do bad from the beginning, I made every effort to be as careful as possible on the math and writing sections. The reading was my lowest score, but I’m still very happy with it :D

You should check with the discussion thread for the SAT. If it looks like you did badly, you should cancel it.
