Score improvements from Junior year to Senior Year

I know a lot of people take the SAT multiple times. I didn't want to be one of them. I studied quite a bit (took over 10 p. tests) for the SAT, and I was scoring like 2300ish on the practice tests. Unfortunately, I got less than a 2050, but above a 2000. (don't want to put my exact score here). Not sure if I'm just not good, or if I had a crazy morning of the SAT (lots of bad news)

So I am kind of depressed now. I am feeling discouraged from things, apathetic, and like I can't get into my top choice anymore (or the top 10 schools on my list of 13).

To alleviate this depression, can anyone tell me of a story where they have heard of people improving form Jr. to Sr. year in October on the SAT. I just want some comfort and support because feeling helpless just isn't what I need now.

Sorry, let me get back to you in a couple months. My actual results went down from my practice tests, too. I definitely think that your scores will go up, since 1) you won't be as nervous, hopefully, and 2) you'll have had a couple more months of classes in math and English. Thats my reasoning, anyway. And I'm counting on it for when I take the SAT again. :)

Take it again?

^^ yeah... i undoubtedly am taking it again. but in october, and it will be a long journey until then, especially when visiting colleges. I'll have no clue if i should even be looking there
