I'm a Biology Major. After reading some of these threads on here, I don't want to go through the med school work. Being a doctor was the ONLY reason I chose to major in it. I hate biology. I don't even know what jobs will be out there for me after I get my Bachelors' in Science degree. I'm guessing I would get a job at a local zoo or my mommas' back yard? Someone fill me in on this. I don't want to work at a zoo. Nor do I wanna teach freaking bilogy or work in a lab. Is there such a job out there that might fit me? I hope so. Please respond to this question ASAP so I can switch majors if I want. I'm a junior right now.

Or should I just continue to think that I will get into a med/dent school and see how it goes?

"1 mistake and my life goes down in the gutter" -- no med school does not = gutter.. and I am sorry i sound a bit too harsh up there. My best advice is to talk to your school adviser and try to find out what the best course of action is.

If you hate bio, switch to something else. (If it's impractical to switch your major at this point, finish up and do something unrelated - businesses are filled with people with bachelor's degrees that have no direct relationship to their jobs.)

I know a bio major who went to law school, and eventually became a patent attorney. A lot of sales people at biotech companies studied bio in college.

What would you do if you could choose anything in the world to do after college?
