So, in the "Why Columbia?" essay, I wrote that I liked the fact that the "GS core requirements provide students with the opportunity to branch out and broaden their horizons."

Frick on a stick.

I wrote this at 11PM on January 1st, so I didn't even have time to go back and edit (completely my fault and a terrible idea, I know...) Clearly, as a current high school senior, I'm not applying to Columbia GS, but to Columbia College, and meant the Core Curriculum. Did this totally screw my chances, if the other part of my essay about what the research- and application-based physics courses showed me about Columbia (as a prospective physics major) was really detailed and showed thought and research on the school?

Is there anything that I can/should do?

Thanks in advance!
