I think I'm in love

You see, I applied to Carleton much on a whim. A feeling.
Only after I applied did I really sit down and read and savor all the information available about the college.
and my gosh, i fell in love. One of my friends who knows about everything there is about my college applications told me last week:
"You know, I used to hope that you'd get into Middlebury, but I think I've changed my mind. Carleton seems better."
I don't know if I agree, but Carleton does seem wonderful.

I'm ignoring my homework (an essay and seminar about Jehovah's Witnesses) and instead I'm reading the student blogs on the Carleton website. They seem so nice. Carleton looks so friendly and wonderful and lovely and everything.

And yeah. Even if (when) I don't get in, I feel so happy for all of you who do. Because... Yeah. Lovely.

Sammie: You and I are roughly in the same boat. Midd is my first choice and Carleton is my second, but there's a fine line, definitely. Both have gorgeous campuses (although Midd has a slight edge there), both are really solid academically.

Actually, at first I was a bit apprehensive about Carleton, just as a matter of brand. But that just dissolved when I visited. It was sooo beautiful, and just hilarious on so many levels. I would be completely happy to go there.

Anyway, keep your hopes up!
