I just found out about this school recently and I'm loving it so far...

If you're a student there, or have been accpeted, or have applied, or are thinking about applying - what are the coolest things about Middlebury, what do you love about it?

Share :-)

Beautiful campus, great food, mountains, autumn in New England, J-Term, hiking, skiing, small classes, great profs...

Well, the people are as nice as they come (now being in the real world I'm sorely missing the Midd crowd) and the campus is gorgeous.

Midd has some fairly new infrastructure, including a brand new library, a ten-year old art center, a seven-year old science building and two new dining halls built in the past five years (if you care about petty stuff like that).

But, it's hard to compare the people and campuses to other colleges of similar prestige, i.e. Bowdoin, Williams, etc.

So I'll leave you with what ended up selling me (as superficial as it may be): Midd's own ski mountain and golf course (right on campus).

I loved it, so I hope you do too.

The people, hands down! My two favorite experiences have to do with people going out of their ways to help me or make me feel better...and I didn't even know them!

Private message me if you want to hear them, because I am too tired to write them down now. But I'd be glad to share! :-)

But yeah, food is pretty good there, dorms are sweet, and professors are really into what they teach, making it a really enjoyable learning atmosphere.
