I Thought Score Reports Were Cumulative?

When I registered for the 2009 examination, I indicated that I would like a (free) score report sent to Duke. They just received it, but it only has the scores from the 2009 examination. However, I was under the impression that it worked the same way as the SAT and that my score report would be cumulative and thus would include the 2008 and 2007 scores as well.

If it does not, then is there no way to get those scores to my college? It seems kind of ridiculous that I would not be able to access the college credits that I have earned...

Thanks in advance!

The free score report only sends that year’s AP scores into the college of your choice. You have to request (i.e. pay CB money, like $15) to send all your AP scores to the college of your choice.

Did you have inconsistencies from year to year on the answer sheet (gave SSN one year and not the other, etc.)?

I’m facing the same dilemma, which I just noticed when I accessed my college account. There it is again, another of collegeboard’s attempt to screw students.

gblob331, I am pretty sure that they say the free score report sends all scores. If not, I have the same problem.

EDIT: Right out of the AP Student Pack:

“The report is cumulative and includes grade for all AP Exams you have ever taken, unless you have reqeusted that one or more of your grades be cancled or withheld.”

Thanks for the swift replies.

Yes, I probably did report a SSN one year and not the other, or something of the sort. I tried to call CB but they’re closed for the holiday. I’ll call them Monday to straighten this out.

And if they think they’re getting another dime, they’re in for a battle.

Does anyone know what I should do if Collegeboard only sent the scores for 7 out of my 8 tests? I took Bio two years ago and I know I got a 5, and my college does not have a record of the test score. Is there any way I can find my score through CollegeBoard to send it?

I emailed for my daughter, and they said it was because there was ‘different personal info’ on the forms for the two years. They’re consolidating them and sending a new cumulative report to us and the college on July 6 (free of charge).

Thank you!
