I took a risk on the SAT today...

I ended my conclusion with a quote. if you had the same prompt as me, (society, fairness, whatever), then maybe you could give me some feedback? i ended with "if at first you don't succeed, try, try again." will this bring my score down by like 100 points? what happens when you end with a quote? lol please help me i am anxious, very anxious

Yes, this wil be detrimental to your score, it could cost you 200 points.
Lol, jk, that sounds like a relevant quote and a good way to end your essay! Readers probably won’t look at your quote in a negative light, and even if they do, it would only bring your score down a couple points. The essay should be somewhat formulaic but you can be creative with it to, in my opinion. Good luck!

As long as the quote is relevant to your paper, I doubt they’ll look down upon it.

If I were the reader, I would demand that your entire test be invalidated.

The conclusion doesn’t even matter, so don’t fret. It can only help.
