I turned down _______ for Tufts... and I'm happy!

I'm just curious what you guys turned down for Tufts... haha.

I turned down Cornell Engineering and Carnegie Mellon ($16,000 and Science Humanities Scholars).

I got in ED II, but i still had the option of going to canada and the UK...

in the UK i got into

London School of Economics
University College London
York University
University of Manchester
University of Edinburgh
University of Leeds

all for economics

got into McGill and U of T in Canada...

Got into a few rolling admissions schools in the states... ( i got into these schools prior to applying to Tufts ED II)

University of Michigan
University of Wisconsin
Indiana U Bloomington-Kelley direct admission w/ 25k scholarship (intended back up)

I turned down NYU full ride for Tufts... but then Tufts gave me over 40,000 so it doesn't matter

I had a legacy at Dartmouth, and with my stats, I probably would have gotten in. But, I decided to go to Tufts, primarliy so I could play football (Dartmouth didn't care for me for football when the real recruiting time came). To be honest, I had a bit of regret, thinking "OMG I just turned down an Ivy League school blah blah blah....", but after visiting both campuses and comparing my experiences, I have no doubt I will be happier at Tufts.... Plus it's not in the middle of nowhere :D.

HA! just turned down both Carnegie Mellon Institute of Technology and Mellon College of Science for Tufts. Tufts isn't full of Ivy league rejects, it's full of Ivy league REJECTORS!!! puhahaha

Brandeis, NYU, and URI.

what school at NYU did you get into astroalex?

College of Arts and Sciences. :)

oh... well done, was jus curious.. thanks!

I turned down BU and a waitlist spot at NYU for Tufts.

Talk about an easy decision. :p

I turned down Wesleyan and BC honors for Tufts

i said no to NYU-Stern and William and Mary...i'm waiting to hear from Columbia and Dartmouth though
