I want to become a veterinarian...which science classes should I take for junior and senior year?

These are the science classes available after my sophomore year:
-AP Chemistry
-AP Biology
-Anatomy and Physiology
-Nanotechnology (pre-req:physics)
-Physics
-AP Physics (1&2)
-Biotechnology
-Marine Science
-AP Environmental Science
-AP Physics C-Mechanics

If I were to take 3 science classes for both junior and senior year, which ones should I do, and in what order?
I want to be a veterinarian but I’m not sure which of these classes colleges would want to see.

I’d say to be a vet, Anatomy and Physiology is definitely recommended since many things you learn in there overlap with animals. I would also say Marine Science would seem logical just going by the same, but read the course descriptions at your school to see what each class is about. Looking long term, AP Biology is good because it deals heavily with life, etc. and, of course, colleges look for AP classes often times on transcripts; the same situation applies for environmental science. Also, you might want to look and see if your school offers any agricultural animal courses (animal science, small animal science, vet science, etc.). Based on your list, I’d take these (and unless your school has some of the courses listed as prerequisites of one other, I don’t think there would be a specific order. I will note if you’re taking 3-4 other AP classes, if you were to take AP Biology I would take it the year you have less APs to help balance an AP load):

  1. Marine Science
  2. AP Biology
  3. Physics
  4. AP Environmental Science
  5. Anatomy and Physiology
  6. Either Nanotechnology or AP Physics 1&2

Okay, thank you!

I would make sure that you have at least 1 year of Biology, 1 year of Chemistry, and 1 year after Physics. After that I would recommend AP Biology and AP Chemistry. Marine Science or Anatomy and Physiology would be my next suggestions. It sounds like you’ve already taken or are taking currently biology and chemistry. If that’s the case, then I would at least take physics next year and then decide between AP Chem or AP Bio. How many science classes can you take a year? Could you do Physics and Marine Science next year and perhaps AP Bio or AP Chem and Anatomy senior year?

I think I’m able to take as much as I want, as long as I meet graduation requirements by the time I graduate.
I’m in Biology right now, next year is Chemistry, and I am planning maybe in junior year I would take AP bio, anatomy, and physics together.
For senior year I think I’ll take AP Chem, Marine Biology, and Biotech?
I’m not sure if this is the best way to organize it so I’m open to any suggestion

PS the biotech class comes with college credits but if I’m taking it in senior year, will it still count? (Same thing with Anatomy)

If its a DE class, meaning you get HS and college credit, then yes, it should transfer to most schools. However, remember that all colleges have their own individual way of transferring credits. AP Bio, Anatomy, and Physics might be a lot in one year. Just keep that in mind.
