<p>Certainly not in education, but definitely in other ways. In Washington, and also Vermont I believe, NDs are licensed to prescribe medications including some controlled substances. Although I find the idea of a naturopathic physician having the ability to prescribe synthetic drugs somewhat amusing, it worries me far more than it amuses me.</p>
