I live in New York and I have not received my class ranking yet or seen my GPA but I take all honors classes and AP Euro and do well in all of them. I don't stick out when it comes to academics but I am above average. I hope that you will be able to give me some pointers on what to do to make myself stand out on my applications, I know I am only a sophomore but I want to get a head start because I know that this is what I want to do.

also if you know, what is the GPA I should have if I want to apply?

oh and um… well since this is anonymous… my grades for the first semester weren’t too great and I’m wondering if one semester will throw me off track. Do not get me wrong I am not failing by any means but my overall average is down to an 85-86 but midterms was a wake up call and I’m putting in more study time and my grades are improving but I’m worried.
