Hey Guys,
I was browsing and stumbled upon the ross school of business at the university of Michigan. The school seems like the right fit for me, and I would be delighted but the admission process seems really weird, like I keep hearing how there's LSA and preferred admissions, can you guys explain to me what the hell is this and how to get in. Can someone (preferably a ross student, or alumni) explain to me the admissions process and requirements, also the competition and acceptance rate. Also can someone list the alternative business schools and all that there is to them, and what makes them unique. Thanks guys , and I will really appreciate your help

I am not Ross alumni but I know some students there. Pre-admission to Ross is very competitive. To apply, you need to mark that on your CommonApp. I have not seen the stat, but from the students I know, the pre-admits are likely 3.9+/2200+/33+ although there is no guarantee you may get in with these stat alone. If you are not pre-admitted, you may get into LSA (avg GPA 3.85, mid 50 ACT 29-33) first and then apply for internal transfer in sophomore if you do fulfill there requirement. It is still competitive though.
